Decades of experience in offshore sailing and the passion and knowledge of
highly qualified boat builders have been absorbed into the development of Hanse
yachts. A lot of emphasis has been on the elegance of hull design and excellent sailing performance
and Hanse see every Hanse yacht not only as a vessel for sailing but also
as a work of art.

Tony Newmarch Marine Brokers is proud to be
the New Zealand agent for Hanse Yachts. We were lucky enough to meet
Peter Hrones of Windcraft who has the Australian Dealership at the Sydney Boat
Show 4 years ago and we were very impressed by Peter and the
Hanse Yachts he represented. Peter invited us to be the Hanse agent for
New Zealand and we set about introducing the Hanse design to our existing
customer base.
We are members of the Marine
Industry Association of New Zealand and Tony has completed his NZQA
qualification in Marine Sales and Services in Boat Sales and Brokerage. Tony has been
selling yachts and launches for around 22years now and has a well-deserved
reputation for knowing his boats, their strengths and capabilities as well as
their weaknesses. In 1999 Tony and his wife Kay started

Marine Brokers and the Company has gone from strength to strength.
When Tony first saw the Hanse
design, he recognized a boat that he totally believed were a range of new
yachts that the New Zealand public could relate to; a boat that is both great to
look at as well as a superb performance cruising yacht. John and Christine
Cowan, for whom Tony has found yachts in the past, had also seen the
Hanse with Tony at the show and they agreed it was what they were looking
for. .
The more we get the Hanse range out on the water the more we hear from people in the yachting world that appreciate how Well the Hanses sail. Fast, stable cruising boats with modern interiors to suit all
tastes.
